1968 New York Jets Autographed Football - Namath, Maynard & More - w/Steiner COA

You are bidding on a 1968 rare New York Jets Autographed Official Wilson NFL leather Commemorative Football, from the Paul Tagliabue era, celebrating the 30 year anniversary of the Jets Super Bowl 3 victory over the Baltimore Colts. This is the team that changed the NFL landscape forever - Namath predicted victory, AFL proved the NFL was not a superior league, ultimately causing a merger between the NFL and AFL. This football is bright and clean.
The ball comes with a Steiner Certificate Of Authenticity "COA" (Steiner is on the EBay approved authenticator list) and matching numeric sticker. There are 26 signatures in total that were procured at a 30 year reunion celebration event in 1999 (refer to a list of names below). The signatures are in black pen and are mostly clear and readable. This ball was acquired in the late 1999 (then stored) and is in the original Wilson Football box. The Official Steiner Certificate of Authentication is included and its numbered Steiner COA matches the corresponding numbered sticker on the ball. The ball does not hold a full load of air overnight, such that it is not hard.
